Lake Murray State Park is Oklahoma's largest state park and is located in the south central portion of the state. The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) constructed the park and employed nearly 17,000 men.
Lake Murray provides a wide range of water recreation. Boating is a popular activity and families can rent canoes, kayaks, paddle boats, jet skis, sailboats and ski boats.
There are nine campgrounds offering over 300 RV campsites. The campsites have full hookups and access to restrooms and showers. Lake Murray Lodge and resort are operated on the western shore of the lake and offer guest rooms, meeting space and a restaurant.
