The Middlesex Greenway is a 3.5 mile trail located in Middlesex County, New Jersey. The trail is located on an abandoned portion of Lehigh Valley rail corridor and the Middlesex County purchased the land in 2002 as a rails to trails project. The trail was officially dedicated on September 15, 2012.
The trail currently passes through the towns of Metuchen, Edison and Woodbridge. The main trailhead is located in Metuchen and there are 12 access points to the trail in total. There are multiple access points within each town and a number of them are fully ADA Accessible. The paved trail is 10 feet wide and supports walking, biking and jogging.
