Tourne County Park is part of the Morris County Park System and has portions located in Boonton, Denville and Mountain Lakes, NJ. Hiking is a popular activity within the park and the Yellow Trail offers scenic views at the Top of Tourne. The trails are also used for biking and horseback riding.

During the winter months, Tourne park is a popular place for cross country skiing. A portion of McCafferty Lane is gated to vehicular traffic and is used as a sledding hill.

The Natural Stone Bridge and Caves Park is located in Pottersville, New York and is a tourist attraction that has been privately owned by the same family since the Revolutionary War. The park protects a massive stone bridge arch, which is the largest marble cave entrance in the eastern United States.

Malibu Creek State Park is located in the Santa Monica Mountains in Southern California. The land was formerly owned by 20th Century Fox Studios and was used to film a number of movies and television shows, including Love Me Tender, Planet of the Apes, Daniel Boone and M*A*S*H. Prior to being owned by 20th Century Fox, the land was the Crags Country Club which offered wealthy members hunting, fishing, tennis and other recreation. The land was acquired by the state in 1974 to be converted into a park, however filming has continued on the land.
