Crawford State Park is located within Crawford County, Kansas. The park is located on a 150-acre man-made lake that was created by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC).

The lake provides great opportunities for water recreation. Two boat ramps provide water access for pleasure boats. There is great fishing for catfish, striped bass and crappie. The marina provides limited food service and convenience items for boaters and campers.

Colliers Mills Wildlife Management Area is located in Ocean County, New Jersey. The WMA is a great example of NJ Pine Barrens habitat and provides a range of natural habitat pitch pine and scrub oak forests, swamps and lakes. Colliers Mill Lake and Success Lake are notable features of the WMA.

Meaher State Park is located in the wetlands of Mobile Bay in southern Alabama. The Mobile Delta consists of over 20,000 acres of water and is formed by the Alabama and Tombigbee Rivers.

A fishing pier and boat launch in the Blakely River provide families with access to great angling. Two nature trails provide hiking, birding and wildlife viewing. A variety of birds can be viewed from the nature trails, including wading birds, terns, osprey and ducks.

Cedar Bluff State Park is located in Trego County, Kansas at the Cedar Bluff Reservoir. The reservoir is named for the 150-foot high cedar-covered limestone bluffs.

The reservoir is the prominent feature and provides families with a range of water recreation. Boat ramps provide access to the reservoir. There is excellent fishing in the reservoir from boats, the shoreline and fishing piers.
