Brunet Island State Park is located on an island on Chippewa and Fisher rivers. It is part of the Wisconsin state park system and was developed in the late 1930s. The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) contributed to the construction of the park.

The park is named for a series of natural springs which the Creek Indians considered as having healing properties.
