New Brighton State Beach is located in Capitola, California and features Monterey Bay coastline. A bluff overlooks the bay and is covered with Monterey Pine and Coastal Live Oak.

Families can enjoy swimming the beach and picnicking nearby. A camping area is located on the bluff and can accommodate RVs up to 36 feet in length. The campground has restrooms and showers.

Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve is located in central Idaho at the site of volcanic lava flows and sagebrush grasslands. The monument contains over 25 volcanic cones plus various cracks and craters which give the area its name.

Indian Springs State Park is located in central Georgia between the cities of Atlanta and Macon. The park is named for a series of natural springs which the Creek Indians considered as having healing properties. High Falls State Park is located in Jackson, Georgia located on the site of a ghost town. The town, called High Falls, was once a prosperous industrial town with a grist mill, cotton gin, blacksmith, shoe factory and several stores.
